Stores department of Eastern Railway has switched over to e-procurement system for tendering with effect from second week of February, 2010 for all types of tenders including bulletin tender. Vendors desirous of submitting their offers/bids may please note that manual offers/bid for these tenders will not be accepted under any circumstances. Only electronic offers/bids submitted (on www.ireps.gov.in) shall be accepted for these tenders.

In order to participate in e-tenders, vendors are required to:

a) Obtain Class III digital signature. Such digital signatures both in soft copy and hard copy alongwith the certificate from the authorized agencies should be submitted to the Controller of Stores office.

b) Get themselves registered with www.ireps.gov.in.

Vendors registered with Eastern Railway may apply for additional trade groups registrations. Vendors may take training on use of e-procurement system, which is held on every Wednesday & Friday at COS office from 12.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs.
